Sunday night services offer a variety of expressions of worship and varying styles of presentation of the message. All are welcome! While many of the HumeRidge Youth and Young Adults attend the service, it is an inter-generational congregation with families and seniors participating. Pastor Ross Savill oversees the service with other ministry staff and congregation members also taking part. The service starts at 5pm.
Prayer is a vital part of the ministry at HumeRidge and we welcome all to join in our time of prayer on Sundays at 4pm. During this time we pray for the Sunday service, weekly programs and for the needs of individuals and groups within our congregation and the wider community.
Kids and families are more than welcome on Sunday nights! A Creche is held for pre-schoolers in the Wave Room, and older children are invited to stay in the main service with activity sheets, games and snacks provided for them. We are seeking to provide a kids-friendly environment that encourages families to stay together during the service where possible.
You can arrive early for a cuppa and a snack, any time from about 4.30pm. Also, following the service there are occasional suppers or meals provided at a small cost. These suppers not only promote fellowship but raise funds for varying ministries and missions supported by the youth of HumeRidge. We encourage you to stay and enjoy the opportunity to catch up with friends, and meet some new people.
